ABOUT
Music has always been a part of Nichagarn's life at a very young age. She started piano lessons at the age of 4 then followed her passion in music by enrolling in a pre-college program at Mahidol College of music majoring in Classical piano. She continued her bachelor in composition and was accepted as a class of 24 by the Juilliard School under instruction from Andrew Norman. Nichagarn's works range from a small piano children piece to an orchestra piece. Her works have been performed in both Thailand and America such as Thailand International Composition Festival, Lake George music Festival, New music on the Point festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and Juilliard chamber music concerts where her works has been performed by many great performers and and professional ensembles like TACEti new music ensemble, The Rhythm Method String Quartet, Mahidol musicians and Juilliard musicians. She is currently a recipient of Gluck Fellowships where she regularly perform chamber music with friends.
She is right now persuing her master degree in composition at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music under the instruction of Ian Krouse. She loves experimenting and learning about many kind of music outside western view with the hope to find her own unique voice as well as branch of her career into media and film music.
Nichagarn's love for collaboration in different art medium can also be seen from her work with choreographer at ChreoComp Concert series 2024 at Juilliard School. She also love writing for animation and moving pictures and have been collaborate with directors and Animators both from the States and international.
